Hello there everyone, it's time for some changes to the leaderboards.

Arcade Games As per last month we have a new Arcade Games lobby therefor, some changes have been made:

• The old Arcade Games level has now been archived. (Don't worry if you cant find it, we still have access to it)
• A new level has been made for the new Arcade Games lobby so you can now enjoy trying to beat the parkour as fast as possible again.

Moderation Updates As you have noticed during this past couple of days, 2 of our SRC Mods have decided to resign from their position.

I would like to thank Amaz for stepping in during a difficult time for HSP and doing his best to verify runs and helping with a lot of moderational changes over their time as a mod, you will be missed greatly.

Then of course there was the resignation of WindMark: I honestly had no words when WindMark told me he had decided to leave HSP moderation. For years he has been one of the most recognisable faces in the community and has been crucial to the development of this community. Without him HSP would not be close to where it is right now, therefor I would like to send a very big thank you and loads of love to WindMark and wish you all the best in whatever is to come in the future. I would also like to thank WindMark for trusting me with the role to lead this community going further.

SRC Verifier applications The resignation of Amaz and Windmark now leaves us at only 1 moderator, therefor I have decided to open verifier applications for anyone interested in helping out the Hypixel Server Parkour speedrunning team. So if you have free time to verify runs on the website and are open to new ideas and criticism please do take the time to apply for a Verifier Position. (You must be in the discord to apply for Verifier)

Thanks to the newest SRC update, we were able to finally archive all the runs that included speed, as well as their respective categories & variables. Don't worry, we still have access to all the data.

Here are the patch notes:

• Speed 1, Speed 1 Any%, Speed 2 and Speed 2 Any% categories are now archived, i.e., not visible on the main HSP page.

• The level we previously created as a 'temporary fix' called "Old BedWars [Archived]" is also archived.

• All the speed variables inside some categories (such as Seasonal% or Shortcutless%) were also archived.

• Shortcutless% and Cosmetics% are now shown as an independent category and not miscellaneous. This allows it to appear in the front page without having to click on the down arrow.

• Rule that once stated bedwars needed video as viable proof for top 5 times was abolished due to the reduced number of runs now submitted. From now on, only top 3 require video as viable proof.

• All the rules have now been fixed, as pointed out by many players. If you find any other mistake, please contact any moderator.

Hello!

I hope you're all doing very well.

I know it has been a long time since last update. The speed removal caught me off-guard and I didn't know how to really act. I think I was too caught up in the idea that the speed 1 and speed 2 categories could still be saved. It's more than obvious that it is a lost fight and it is time to move on from them.

For that reason I want to know your opinion. Should we just straight up delete those categories? I don't think there is a way to save (archive) and make them not visible on the leaderboards. Say what you think on #suggestions, please.

I also want to announce that we are back to active! All the runs will soon be all verified within a short period of time. No more long times of waiting!

Here's some update notes for those interested:

• Before any leaderboards updates, I would like to thank Maax and Indev for all the help provided on the leaderboards throughout the last period of time. They, unfortunately, have resigned their position of SRC mod.

• Please, welcome Axl to the SRC mod team.

• Complete reset on "All Stages". All the categories were deleted, including any previous runs. Added "All Checkpoints" and "Any%". No older runs will be accepted.

• Until any further decision, speed categories were moved to the extreme right of the leaderboard. The new order (from left to right) is All Checkpoints, Any%, Shortcutless%, Cosmetics% and Seasonal% (if applicable).

• Archived the old bedwars lobby. The level is now named "Old BedWars [Archived]" and was moved to the bottom of the leaderboard. No runs will be accepted to this.

• Complete reset on the Seasonal% category.

• Added N/A to any spot that is not meant to have any runs, like previously done.

• Many QOL (Quality of Life) changes.

If something is missing or wrong, please help us by contacting any of the SRC mod team member.

As some of you may have noticed already, speed is gone as soon as you press the start plate on lobbies. A whole discussion was already done in the discord. Feel free to join it if you want to know about more (https://discord.gg/YSVQSja).

For this reason:

• All the categories ran on speed one will now be named accordingly, just like it happens on speed 2. For example, All Checkpoints are now going to be named "All Checkpoints (Speed 1)". Same logic applies to any% speed 1.

• This, in return, makes so that we can add a new category to the leaderboards for no speed. These will be named "All Checkpoints" and "Any%", replacing what was then speed 1. You can check the leaderboards if you don't understand what was said.

• Old runs that you may have recorded and are done with speed can still be submitted to the speed categories.

• Seasonal% is also added for the Summer lobbies affected with decoration.

Since we still don't have any confirmation if the speed is going to be back, we will keep the other categories as they are for now. All we are doing is opening a category for the no speed that we now have.

Also, gadgets and shortcutless will not be added for the no speed, for now. We will see how things go.

• Added Wool Wars level on the leaderboards. It's been put in 2nd place, right below main lobby because it is new and it shows like that on the in-game compass.

• Added Seasonal% for the lobbies affected by the Easter decoration.
• We won't accept any non-affected lobby runs to this category.
• If the Easter decoration makes the run slower than the normal lobby, you can either submit it to the main categories or to seasonal% (up to you).
• Seasonal% will be deleted once Easter lobbies are gone.

As many of you may have already noticed, Hypixel changed their Main Lobby and featured a brand new parkour challenge. That, unfortunately, leads to the archiving of every single run done on the previous lobby. We are also aware that there have been found strats using water that save a reasonable amount of time and, for that reason, we will be separating the Main Lobby Parkour (and only Main Lobby) into 2 different categories (1.8-1.12 & 1.13+).

We've also deleted every single any% run on UHC west & east and also on blitz sg since all of them only have 1 checkpoint.

On a different note and on my behalf, i'm sorry for my inactivity lately. I've been only verifying runs and nothing more. I'm having a lot of work lately but I hope our decision towards this update was the correct one and that you have fun playing it!

From now on, we've decided that speed 1 runs cannot be submitted to the speed 2 category. This is to prevent speed 2 categories to have more speed 1 runs than speed 2 runs itself. It also gives unnecessary free world records.

As the majority of you may know the duels parkour changed on some parts, specially before the checkpoint 1 and before checkpoint 3, as far as I'm aware. You can check the changes on the following links that redirects you to the screenshot comparisons:

What are we gonna do about it? Even though the changes are minimal, it is still slower than the previous lobby and it might not even be possible to get a sub 50 seconds right now. With this said all the runs on All Checkpoints and Any% for both speed 1 and speed 2 categories, will be archived. Cosmetics% is not going to be affected since this changes don't really have an effect on this category. Seasonal% will also remain the same because it was already implemented after the lobby change.

Please, correct me if I said something wrong or missed anything.

What if the lobby changes back to what it once was? Don't worry, as I said previously, we are going to archive the runs, not delete them. We'll try our best to keep them safe so that we can bring them back if the old lobby returns!

Can't the old runs still be on the leaderboard and create a new category for the new lobby? No. The real fun of the leaderboards is to break the world records. Letting the old lobby runs be there means they will never be beaten, which kinda breaks the purpose of the whole concept itself.

Unfortunately we have no control over the lobbies and if or when they change. The best we can do is to adapt to the changes, leading to some sacrifices like this one. I hope you guys understand that we need to do this.

But hey, look at the bright side, there's free world records now! Go get them! :)

Added Seasonal%

Since some of the seasonal lobbies are either slower or faster than the standard ones, we are creating a Seasonal%. It will work normally, with no differences to the normal categories, besides that you can only submit there runs done on seasonal lobbies. If the seasonal lobby presents no advantage compared to the standard lobby, you can either submit to the normal categories and/or to the seasonal category. It's up to you.

After each seasonal lobby is gone, so is the category. Meaning all the runs will be deleted and the whole leaderboard will be archived, starting again once the lobby goes seasonal again.
