Also rules state you can't use any texture pack that gives the runner a direct advantage.

The rules clearly state (in Game rules: General rules) that "Any sort of texture pack or other visual modification that gives the runner an advantage is banned -For example the use of an xray texture pack is banned" For exampe, does the Fullbright Texture Pack give any advantage? -Yes, it gives you night vision. Therefore should it be be allowed in runs? -No. Would a texture pack that makes Minecraft look good give you an advantage? -Absolutely not. Therefore should a nice looking texture pack be allowed in runs? -Yes, as long if it doesn't give you an advantage You need to read through the rules and make sure you understand them so your runs won't get declined and don't post a thread or in a thread when the answer is in the rules its not even that hard to understand the rules, so fact is you probably didn't read the rules so, read the rules.

If it gives an advantage, it is not allowed. If on the fence about it just don’t use one.

I believe pumpkin unblurring,(however you say that)the texture pack is NOT allowed it gives the ability to see more when wearing a pumpkin which would be considered unfair compared to vanilla Minecraft and the enchantment glint should be allowed because it does not affect gameplay in anyway it just makes it look cool and as I stated before "Would a texture pack that makes Minecraft look good give you an advantage? -Absolutely not. Therefore should a nice looking texture pack be allowed in runs? -Yes, as long if it doesn't give you an advantage" You should be able to tell which and which are not allowed because the pumpkin unblurring texture pack allows you to see more while wearing a pumpkin which is an advantage and considered unfair in speedrunning always ask questions to yourself asking "does this give me an advantage and would it be considered unfair towards speedrunning?" that should be able to help you decide if it's allowed or not allowed and consider cheating, and if you really aren't sure I recommend that you ask mods or others to help you or just don't use it in the run.
