On Xbox, the most you can record, with a USB, is 1hr. However, some runs take more than 1 hour. Do we start a new recording? Because it may look like we are cutting it up
Stream your gameplay using the twitch app for xbox and then either highlight the run and upload to youtube or save the VOD and cut it yourself
Screen recording on a phone was what I was thinking, but Mango Man said it first. Me and my friend did something like that when we were playing speedrunner v hunter.
As someone who speedruns only on Xbox One, I recommend streaming your runs on Twitch. After that, if one of your runs is good or is WR, you can make a highlight, download it, then upload it to Youtube. After doing that, you can upload it to speedrun.com. PS. If you can't upload videos on YT that are over 15 minutes like me, just submit the link to the twitch highlight to speedrun.com
@GoldGamer32 you can upload videos longer than 15 minutes if you enable the setting
End of the story is you are not allowed to edit 2 clips together if you can't record for long enough. It counts as a splice and will be rejected.
