So i loaded up 1.17 snapshot and made a world and was spawned into a jungle where i got 4 logs got a boat and set said and apariently theres a lava area and 3 iron above ground very near so i did that and i got to the nether quick, so i thought hey why not post this seed to the speedrunning comunity? but i forgot how to find out what seed you have so can anybody tell me how to get the seed for 1.17?

1. Generally you should leave the seedfinding efforts to the seedfinders, and this seed is not even close to what we currently use. Seedfinders can easily find much better seeds than this very quickly.

2. If you select the world with the seed and click "Recreate World" and then without creating it, go into "More world options" the seed will be listed above

What about entering The End? I mean, how many time will take to find the Ender Portal. (nice pfp btw) (and you can find out what seed it is by writing /seed in the chat [i think])

Snapshot versions are not allowed to be used in speedruns...

1. Not a 12 eye
2. Seedfinding is close to impossible manually going through seeds
3. There is no village near spawn
4. You don't even know the seed
5. Snapshots aren't allowed
6. Don't title threads in all caps

"Seedfinding manually is near impossible" bedrock edition be like

1. You can’t speedrun snapshots,
2. Just because there’s iron and a lava pool doesn’t mean it’s good for a SSG run. That’s good for an RSG run, and there are tons of other seeds that also have iron and a lava pool. For a seed to be a good SSG seed, it needs a 12-eye portal and, if possible, nether travel. Take a look at the seed that people use for 1.16 SSG to see what I mean,
3. To get the seed of a world, pause the game, click open to LAN, click allow cheats on and start the LAN world, then open the chat and type /seed and enter. The chat should return a string of integers which is your world seed. Not that we’re going to need your world seed anyway for the previous two reasons - unless your world is, impossibly, a 12-eye portal seed - forget it. We don’t need it.

you can speedrun snapshots you just cant put them on the leaderboards

Since snapshots aren't allowed, you would have to wait until the official release of 1.17 but world generation will be significantly different most likely to accommodate the caves and cliffs update making this seed that isn't a good seed at all besides having a lava pool which is very common but the seed might not even exist when the official version releases

I like how everyone posts about finding a good seed, but it couldn't even beat the rsg world record. If a seed is not a 12 eye its bad for ssg.

I mean, reading the title, you can speedrun every seed in minecraft, except those rare cases where portal room doesn't generate.

@sheeperinosheeperino if the portal room doesnt generate you can just find a different portal room if youre just trying to finish a run

unless all 128 portal are messed up

For 20w45a, the 1.16 ssg seed works anyway, just with a slightly different basalt biome.
