@Quivico Oh my goodness thank you so much. |

Being able to 'right click > Open link in new tab' runs on the "awaiting verification" page would remove a ton of wasted time. (Sorry if this has already been mentioned, I'm far too lazy to read through the 50+ pages of this!) I timed the page opening 3 times and I got: 16.81, 10.93,12.04 (just using livesplit, not very accurate obviously) Which averages out to around 13 seconds to load the page every time. If you have a large list of runs to approve, loading the page after every approval gets pretty tiring. If we could load the runs in a new tab, that would take away the wait every time by keeping the page open all the time. Thank you for potential consideration! |

Forum: Super Mario Bros. Thread: SMBMAST3R's 4:57.560 Started by: |
You can't tell whether or not he got lag frame from the video because it's only 30 fps and dropped the frame if it existed. SMBMAST3R says they got lag frame it's probably right to believe them as it's just honesty to make their time more accurate for the leaderboard. If SMBMAST3R can confirm that they did or did not get lag frame, we can change it. As of right now though we're going to stick to their words on the submission, "I got lag frame on BBG which wasted a frame but the 8-4 was absolutely insane!" |

The WiiVC framerate is 59.824. The final time is 17940, which = 299.87964696442899170901310510832 (at WiiVC framerate) That gets rounded to 4:59.880. Also, I said in the run description what the run time would've been with NES framerate, and what pattern it was on the spreadsheet. |

Forum: Super Mario Bros. Thread: Best controller for emu Started by: cornycowscornycows |
I know the buffalo SNES controller is a popular option: https://www.amazon.com/BUFFALO-2145487-Classic-USB-Gamepad/dp/B002B9XB0E What I use when I use EMU though is any of the controllers from 8bitdo, their controllers (especially the snes one) are very high quality, very highly recommended: http://www.8bitdo.com/ |

Thread is being locked. The topic has gone off course, leading to arguments not needed. If the run in question is submitted to the leaderboards it will go through the same process as any other run submitted. |

Definitely not harder than 1-2 clip. I've done it for a while now and have gotten at least 30+ fast 4-2s out of it. |

Sorry, issue fixed after I was notified. After doing a ton of these I mix up cutoffs in certain games and categories, thus I thought the cutoff was 5:05 instead of 5:03. Again, sorry, and the issue has been fixed. |

If darbian were doing attempts offline and got a PB, then no, we wouldn't accept it. Sure he's trustworthy but the rule at hand isn't only for specific people. I have gotten a PB offline (4:58.691) and it wasn't accepted because of that. |

This might just be an issue on my end, but custom favicon's are not showing up on any browser for me. It's just the trophy. |

This just means you touched the pole a pixel or 2 too high, disappointing outcome and loses time sadly. |

Just to add on to what nickj said, the only difference is that L+R does not work on the GBA version. The NES TAS that was ported was the RTA rules tas by happylee. The movie for which you can view here: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/394752880/RTA%20rules%20by%20happylee.bk2 |

Well if anything the former WR is also timed wrong so you still have WR SeemsGood |
Forum: Gone Home Thread: Most people are timing runs wrong? Started by: mav6771mav6771 |
A few runs on here I've seen have the timers incorrect. They're showing "Seconds; Frames", instead of "Seconds; Milliseconds" So a time (The WR for example) 47;19, is 47 seconds and 19 frames. 19 / 30 is 0.633, so the record is actually 47.633. Just a quick note as I've already seen 3 runs incorrectly timed. |
