Do you know what happens Romario if the timer is full? If the time in 59:99.999 in a event, will it stay that way, count further then 60 minutes, or reset to 00:00.000?

And to answer your question, I tested it on Biathlon using an emulator, but on that event, the in-game time only goes up to 29:59.999, and stayed that way.

I've said a bit about it in the Discord. Don't think I can post videos/pictures here.

But in short:
Between the third and 5th gate (I don't remember anymore) you can speed up and jump at the (pretty sure it was blue) fence. I think it was a fence at the right When you land you jump on the fence again by how the hitboxes work. And then when you land you are in a state where you live very slowly forward and you don't automatically accelerate. I got 7½ minutes moving very slowly that way.

L.R, in much older games like Mario64, when something reaches its top number (32 thousand something) it starts going to -32 thousand, then it "overflows" and starts counting from 0. It's a number related to the bytes of space the short-term memory of the game has, I think. However, L.R said it just stays the same once it reaches 29:59.59, so I guess after 46 years they accounted for this lol

But maybe the timer just shows a number but, internally, the game keeps counting and can overflow after some time. During how long did you leave the timer going?

Sorry for a sort of late response, I had to do it again, because I wasn't considering that factor at the time. I was just focusing on what would happen when maxing out the timer and using speed up to make it faster.

Anyway, I did it again legitimately this time. I left it for just over 9 minutes, and nothing happened, the timer stayed 29:59.999.

Romario, there are cheats of the game that you can find online. Some are useful, some are not. You should check them out if you are interested.

I wanted flying cheats for Downhill, but never found one. There are not many cheats of this game, beyond what you'll find on gamefaqs and some other websites. There are some more in youtube videos that people made back in the day
