Consider disallowing enchanted weapons when killing Reactor in Bad Ending speedrun

Weapon bonuses "Adds n - m points of Fire/Electrical/Cold/Poison damage" ignore the enemy's Cold/Electrical/Fire/Poison resistances. This is an obvious bug and is not fixed until GrayFace's unofficial patch: "[-] Weapon enchants don't ignore resistances anymore."

One of the final bosses, Reactor, is immune to all Fire/Electricity/Cold/Poison/Magic/Physical attacks, and is supposed to be vulnerable only to blasters (see monsters.txt in icons.lod as well as seer's hint) which can only be acquired at the Control Center, accessible only after completing the 6 High Council quests plus the traitor Silvertongue quest, and getting the 4 Memory Crystals. But due to this bug, weapon bonuses bypass enemy's resistances check and ignore Reactor's immunities, allowing player to kill it without blasters, without finishing High Council/Memory Crystal quests, making bad ending speedrun far easier. It reduces 11 quests to zero quest, exploiting this bug is far beyond exploiting the glitches including the 5th slot one. Speedrunners should really consider disallowing enchanted weapons and only allowing blasters when killing Reactor in Bad Ending speedrun.

In a speedrun, the goal is to complete the game as fast as possible by any means with no outside help.

Where do you even draw the line? Are you suggesting disallowing enchanted bows but allowing 5th slot? Both seem like "obvious bugs" to me. If you're going to impose arbitrary limitations on the run you might as well make it glitchless and a seperate category. (I'd love to see you do that Ichi)

Bad ending with blasters would be the exact same route as good ending (except skipping ritual of the void which loses maybe 30 seconds) so there's really no point.

Nah, I was just muttering a little bit...

Eh, perhaps in the bad ending speedrun rule it might be good to explicitly state that it's allowed to use enchanted weapons to kill the Reactor, skipping all "necessary" quests...

@Ichimarnold Only a normal bow is not sufficient. To be able to kill the Reactor, the bow must have special bonus - addtional Fire/Electrical/Cold/Poison damage (in a non GrayFace version).
