Anything I find that saves time, I'll put in here. First off, the Birdy Beach skip. Go to the barrel behind the ship, and try to squeeze between the barrel and the ocean wall. With enough wiggling, you should be pushed straight through out of bounds. From there you can go under the map, and grab the key without needing a single balloon. Here's a video showing it:

Dude! This is so cool! Awesome find! Another good place to hunt for glitches would be Tulsahr's Forest. If we could get into the temple early, that would save a ton of time.

Thank you! And for a Tulsahr's Forest skip, it's currently a work in progress. It seems possible, but it may be a while until it's figured out.

Yeah, I'm going to be looking for a skip in Tulsahr's and Tubular City. :) Let's see what we can find.

What would you be able to skip in Tubular City? Even if you found a major out of bounds or something, you'd still have to collect all the batteries and coins, right?

Also, thought I'd mention this. I'm sure people have discovered this, but no one seems to use it in the runs I've seen, so I'll show it anyway if you don't know: (It does only save a few seconds) You can just barely make it to the third cloud.

Also, a super super small time save. Literally only saves a second, but you might as well do it: You can shoot rapidly at the end boss, before the second blow dart things spawns

I was just doing strats I was comfortable with in my runs. I started implementing new ones recently, but haven't recorded anything.

Hmm... idk with Tubular. I was thinking that, unless someone has looked into the game files, maybe some batteries or the spawn for the car section are hiding OoB, though that depends on how the game is developed. It's just me trying to theory craft.

I went around with the infinite wings in Tubular and couldn't find anything except for the secret level.

The thing with levels like Tubular City, is it has so many requirements to make the end level 'car section' thing spawn. I flew around with infinite wings, even under the level, and there was nothing there. I was hoping that the thing would be there underneath the map, but it isn't. Levels where you need several items to spawn won't have any major glitches to make the run faster. I looked in Bright Islands, under the level again, and nothing was there. The only levels you can even start considering while looking for an out of bounds or a level skip is Tulsahr's Forest and Moody Mansion. In Tulsahr's Forest, the item(s) you need could be skipped with an out of bounds, and for Moody Mansion, if you could immediately glitch out of bounds and go the room with the four buttons, and not have to get the key, it would save a little bit of time. Every other level in the game (apart from Birdy Beach and Strangely Familiar Jungle) has requirements that you cannot skip.

I have tried EVERYTHING for many, many hours to find a way to glitch out of a solid wall. The only reason glitching through the level in Birdy Beach worked was because the outside wall isn't an actual wall. It's a fake wall. All it is, is a trigger that tells the game that when you intersect it, push the player back in bounds. If you had something, like the barrel (aka a solid object) help push you through, you would end up going through. Other levels with that sort of out of bounds trigger system is Bright Islands and Tubular City, and because an out of bounds isn't useful there, there's no point to try to figure it out.

So unless someone somewhere can find a way to go straight through a solid wall (which I'm 90% sure that there is no way), there won't be any more major timesaves in this game, apart from maybe a few route changes.

Hope this helped :)

Also, technically the final boss could be faster if there was somehow a way to shoot the player super high into the air, because then you could immediately hit the final trigger. However, finding something like that is super unlikely, and trust me, I've tried.

I spent roughly two hours trying every angle and every tree branch and anything sticking out in Tulsahrs and I'm not sure if there is an out of bounds. I'll try again in a bit.

I've done the same exact thing, and it sucks because your character glitches up and down constantly on the tree branches, and it seems as if you could just pop up out of bounds with enough effort, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for sharing your ideas and attempting to find skips. I'm glad that everyone keeps trying. I have also messed around with Tulsahr's and haven't found any success yet.

One thing I did find interesting recently has to do with the the wall you glitch through in lvl 2. I was messing around, and noticed that the wall pushing you back is directly related to how many frames it takes for the player to travel. For example, the game naturally runs at 60fps, so if you intentionally reduced the game to 30fps, it becomes a little bit easier. You can also use CheatEngine to change the speed of the whole game, and if you crank up the speed super high, you don't even need the barrel to go through, because the distance you travel in one frame is dramatically increased. You just fly straight through. Of course the game is going so fast you can't even fly and gain any height. Anyways, just an interesting find if you want to make that one clip slightly easier and more consistent.

(Maybe this will help for a potential lvl 3 skip?)

This shows the speedhacks: Also didn't notice until now, but it also totally screws up the water level.

I also took my effort trying to find Tulshar's skip yesterday but as expected, no result.

Maybe if we can figure out what makes this happen, we can replicate it and use it in other levels like Tulshar's:

SirTroyish's post reminded me of something. In Tulsahr's Forest, the knight is leaning on a box. The space between the box and the tree has an invisible barrier that makes you slide over it. Normally, when you are on an object and not touching the ground, Mac does an animation where he holds out his wings and sticks up his feet. However, if you wiggle just right, you can get the normal standing and walking animation and walk between the space when you should not be able to go through it.

The beginning shows how it normally functions and 0:26 shows what happens when you squeeze in-between the hitbox. I show it really well at 0:52. I'm not sure if this is worth anything, but I thought it was a really weird interaction between the box and the tree. You don't really see mac enter the walk animation or pop in and out of the hitbox.
