Hi, i'm new on speedrun.com so my apologise if i say something wrong/stupid (or both)

I submitted a run on Metroid 2, 1 week ago (not the best but i was very proud because it's the first time i do a speedrun, so i created an account on speedrun.com to register my run. And the run hasn't been verified yet.

And Yesterday, i beat my pb so i submitted a new run again.

So here are my questions :

Is it normal to take so much time ? Did i do something wrong when i submitted my runs ? is it a problem to submit 2 runs (in the same categorie) for 1 game ?

I hope the forum is not dead too :( (Sorry about my english)

Depends if mods are awake. Or if they're focused on other games. I still do my blindfolded routing from time to time but I don't speedrun at all for the game.

Some games take a few minutes, others over a couple weeks. It'll get verified, don't worry.

sorry about the delay for Verification. Not terribly dead, i havent been on the site in a decent while. New runs are few and far in between. I appreciate your interest and I will do my best to ensure runs are verified in a timely manner since the game is picking up traction again. Good Luck with the runs!
