[big][big][center]__A Guide to Neutral Ending E/E__[/big][/big][/center]

In this guide, I will be detailing my route and strategies for the Easy/Easy subcategory of the Neutral Ending run. Let's go over some key things you'll need to know.

Key Items During the Run:

My personal paradigm of choice is Luna/Anima, as luna has good damage and decently large swipes, and anime makes those more frequent. Thanatos is also an option, but we will go over that later. Heal familiar is incredibly useful, and makes everything from Track 6 onwards much less risky. Repellent virtue is an absolute must, as it allows you to hit projectiles back at enemies, making some battles much shorter.

Glitches:

A glitch we use regularly is one called the Attaunt Exploit (coined by LordShaid) or as I refer to it, the Early Taunt glitch. This is an incredibly easy glitch to preform, inputted by hitting an attack button (usually light) + any direction on the d-pad. This works as of patch 1.12, and makes a lot of things much easier for us.

Levels:

I personally prefer a mixture of mostly Attack Damage, Stamina and Charge absorption for my level up choices. Charge absorption becomes very key later on once you get heal, and attack damage and stamina are self explanatory.

Bosses:

Here are the strategies for the runs bosses.

[big][big][center]The Hive[/big][/big][/center] Break the crystal containing Michael immediately. The enemies can also damage it. Early Taunt and hold actions are your friend here. Break them ASAP and then kill them with hold actions.

[big][big][center]The Forsaken[/big][/big][/center] Early Taunt, parry his melee attacks and then destroy him with hold actions. Take care for his projectiles, as they leave pools on the floor that will damage you and bring you closer to death.

[big][big][center]Christian (1-2)[/big][/big][/center] Always taunt Christian. He is the second easiest boss to perfect parry outside of The Depths. Parry, hold action, and move on.

[big][big][center]Christian 3[/big][/big][/center] Taunt and then transform, and then you can easily break and obliterate him. Keep an eye on your health, as he can chunk you very easily. Don't be afraid to leave transform to heal if necessary.

[big][big][center]Serah[/big][/big][/center] Serah has difficult parry windows. As soon as you see her flash, dodge at her to get a parry (if she's using her fast attacks). Taunt works well here. It's a matter of learning her windows.

[big][big][center]The Depths[/big][/big][/center] Taunt him, parry his 3rd swing, and then obliterate him with hold actions.

[big][big][center]Harbringer[/big][/big][/center] This fight is incredibly easy with Taunt + Transform. Run him down, but keep an eye on your health.

[big][big][center]Messiah[/big][/big][/center] Repellent is your FRIEND. He will 100% of the time start off Phase 1 with a bullet spray. Parry 1 or 2 of his bullets back at him, then kill him with hold actions. In Phase 2, focus on his ads, then take him down with projectile or melee parries. Phase 3 will 100% of the time start with a melee attack, so parrying this is a guaranteed 50% health down.

Now with that all being said, let's discuss routes.

[big][big][center]Track -1 ~ Cradle[/big][/big][/center]

There's really nothing to be said about Cradle. It's the tutorial level. Your main goal is to get through it as quickly as possible. The only real strategy is that when you acquire the hold action tech, go left and take some intentional damage from the enemy to make Harbringer kill you faster. Make sure you use Early Taunt on Harbringer to die faster.

[big][big][center]Track 1 ~ Lost in the World[/big][/big][/center] https://i.imgur.com/vCrba7N.png In Track 1, your goal is to defeat The Hive and open the door to the church. Sprinting attacks will be your friend throughout this area, as they instantly break most of the normal sized enemies here. You want to equip Impulse immediately after acquiring it, as if can 1shot any broken enemies. Upon getting parry, you want to be using it as much as possible to clear big enemies that aren't easy to break faster. Upon reaching the rest point before The Hive, take a moment to level up and get what stats you can. In The Hive fight, you can use Early Taunt to make the fight much faster. Immediately equip Anima after acquiring.

[big][big][center]Track 2 ~ Flesh Without Blood[/big][/big][/center]

Linear. Enter church, cutscene, go to Messiah to die (Make sure to Early Taunt him for an easier death), and then grab the travel pass to move onto Track 3.

[big][big][center]Track 3 ~ Inside[/big][/big][/center] There are two encounters that are skippable in this area, and they are the three sword wielding enemies straight north from Highland Station, and then the two large enemies in the railroad area before the Forsaken battle pre-delimiter.There are two encounters that are skippable in this area, and they are the three sword wielding enemies straight north from Highland Station, and then the two large enemies in the railroad area before the Forsaken battle pre-delimiter. https://i.imgur.com/46xKUsP.png The most routing intensive part of the run. Take a moment before the train to grab a couple of levels, then get on the train and ride to the Highland Station. Exit, kill the enemy there, and then go up the bridge and follow the path to the Speed Pass. There are two encounters that are skippable in this area, and they are the three sword wielding enemies straight north from Highland Station, and then the two large enemies in the railroad area before the Forsaken battle pre-delimiter. A note here is that hold actions start to become your friend as you get more stamina, they easily break enemies and enemies stay broken (usually) long enough for you to hit them with a second hold action, if you can't parry them. Go west from the Speed Pass area to get the delimiter, then go down-left and then down the bridge to the station farthest to the right, and then progess to the Forsaken & Christian 1 battles.

[big][big][center]Track 4 ~ When the Sun Hits[/big][/big][/center] https://i.imgur.com/iWfKWl5.png Tracks become really linear from here forward. Go past the initial rest house, and down south to get Past. You can also get Thanatos here if you so choose, but I prefer to avoid it due to how slow and stamina consuming its attacks are, even with Anima. Go back to the rest spot, take some levels, and then get your code (Don't forget it!) and then progress through the building & out to the arena.

[big][big][center]Track 5 ~ Stay Here[/big][/big][/center] Another linear area. Go north, grab a rest point in case you die, then start the arena battles. A tip here is that you only need to complete 3 arena battles with an S rank to progress into the Champion battle. Finish your fights, defeat Serah and move on. Upon reaching the Highway, grab the Heal familiar from the merchant (You should have around 20k from the arena) and then snag your rest spot before Christian 2.

[big][big][center]Track 6 ~ When the Sun Hits[/big][/big][/center] https://i.imgur.com/jlQ2ek9.png Once you get through to the Highway proper, kill the large enemy then head right and swap the bridge over. Go right, get repellent, then move forward to the left to get the key, then onward to The Depths.

[big][big][center]Track 7 ~ Lethean[/big][/big][/center] Lethean is incredibly linear. Parrying and hold actions will be your friend throughout this area, as most of the enemies will swing at you multiple times. Keep your heal charged and ready in case you catch any incidental damage. Get through to Harbringer 2, and then move on to the final track.

[big][big][center]Track 8 ~ One Last Time[/big][/big][/center] Transform is your friend here. If all went well throughout the run, you should have a very minimal % buildup, so you can use transform throughout all of the battles in this area, including Christian 3. Refer to the above Messiah strategy to make your life easier, and then progress into the final cutscene!

Congrats! You've officially finished your first Easy/Easy run! This does look like a ton, but I promise it's very easy to get down with a bit of practice.
