I was wondering if quitting right after a checkpoint and reloading the save is allowed. I have found that, at some checkpoints, doing that could save time. For example, quitting after getting the last poster for Royam and reloading the save skips some dialogue and puts you right in front of Royam, allowing you to talk to him right away.

That most definitely sounds good to me, every time save is great to take ! I would clearly allow that (as long as Tipssi isn't against it)
