Re-name Any% (OoB)

Hi everyone. I know there was a talk a while ago, and we finally did a name change on the Any% No OoB category. But we still to this day have the REAL Any% category called (OoB). This doesnt make any sence. I do understand there is more runs on the No OoB category but that is not a good reason to name the Any% category. I have been in the speedrun community for a long time now, and back then most stuff was based around Speedrunslive, thats were chats, talks and much stuff was going on. In there, from the start we stated "The simplest end point is "any%" which means simply to beat the game. The term comes from the Metroid community, where people would do 100% runs and any% (anything goes)." In every community, Any% is beating the game as fast as possible. EVERYTHING is allowed. It doesnt make any sence why we would name it (OoB). If we were to name what glitches we use, we might as well call it "Any% (OoB, Scew, Early Basement). You dont have to and shouldnt state what glitches is used in a Any% run because the final goal is to simply beat the game. I dont complain that the Any% No OoB is the start page, if you look at many communitys like SM64, they have 120-Stars first.

All i am saying is that we should rename the Any% (OoB) category to just "Any%".

I think that'd be a fine idea. Adding the OoB tends to confuse the categories so having any% and any% NoOoB would make sense because Any% was getting the game done as fast as possible and No OoB can be explained. That previous statement makes sense in my head but I have no idea how it sounds to others so I'll sum it up below.

No change - explain both categories to people Change - only explain NoOoB

I think the change would work well.

Washington, D.C., USA

This change would allow everyone to submit their No OoB runs to normal Any% as well, which actually makes more sense, so I can support it.

Florida, USA

I don't really have a preference because it doesn't affect gameplay and doesn't matter too much to me. That being said, I'd be for changing the category name.

I'm all for changing the name.

Massachusetts, USA

Having any% named correctly would be neat, I support it

England

I'm not really bothered, but if you want to change it then I'd be happy to comply.
