On my first playthrough of the game in the Hospital, I did the section where you are chased by the hand and grabbed the battery (Don't know what to call it), and then left with Six to reach the main hall. I came out of that section to find a battery already next to the lift, and with the one already in my hand, I more than likely could have powered the lift right then.

However, first playthrough and all, I went into the mannequin section instead of putting both batteries in (exploring and stuff). I also unfortunately failed to get any kind of picture or screenshot because I didn't know if it was just a part of the game or not, but I definitely remember it being there. I don't know how to replicate it, nor how it happened in the first place. My only guess is the fact I died in the hand section, but it would be huge if it is replicable. Sorry to bother. I'm mostly only a watcher of speedruns, but I thought that it was something that should be known.

This Glitch is actually known, I don't know why this happens tho. No one managed to replicate it (yet), but if someone does, then this saves insanely much Time (10 Minutes or More?). EDIT: Mythiccheese's right

Ah, At least it's known! It happened in my first run and not my second, and the only difference was me dying to the hand. It happened on PS4 if that helps, so it's probably easier to replicate on something like PC. I think even for casual runs skipping past that section would be great.

It actually is known, and it is replicatable. It's called fuse dupe and it's used in speedruns now. It's a really big timesave.
