No, that would be considered a spliced/segmented run and that is against the rules in nearly all games. @Reddy_is_amazingReddy_is_amazing

It’s not luck based because all RNG patterns can be predicted based on what frame-rule you’re on.

You realize that most of the runs are going to be tied because of frame rules, plus that almost every runner in the world is going to do this category. The moderators are going to be overworked as hundreds of runs are going to be submitted to this arbitrary category. We’ve already talked about this countless times and all of the times we’ve said no.

That name sounds like a more hostile version of Get Laid%

Are you switching to the “no items or coins” setting instead of the “no items” category in the settings? That might be the problem.

Then you’d have to multiply the Switch’s time by 0.9983 to get the NES time, right? That means that SweatyPirahna’s time (Switch wr holder) has a 4:56.811 (I think) if he played on NES.

It depends on your interests. It’s not a “choose one” situation. Many runners run both.

In the DLC, I fought the re-fight of Waterblight with only bombs, since I broke all other weapons. It took a while but I did it. I did not say that I tested Thunderblight or Windbight, I just didn’t think they could be done.

Ok. Waterblight and Fireblight are possible with just bombs. I’m pretty sure you need magnesis for Thunderblight and Windblight should be possible, although I haven’t tested it. I think you need a shield for Calamity, though. I would get the Hyrule shield because it is very durable and I think the stalnox can be killed with just bombs, although I’m not sure.

So then it's just paraglider and bow of light if we can skip the shieka slate? But honestly I would think that the Shieka Slate would be required since you need the shieka slate for apparatus storage.

Lo and behold, Baten Kaitos 100%. 338 hours. In a game this popular, people are bound to run it. Plus, Doraplayz did say it was exactly like 100%.

@The_BromieThe_Bromie If no setup glitches or NG+ glitches are allowed, then Shieka Slate skip can't be a thing anymore.

Let's see...we don't have to use arrows. We also don't have to get the Shieka Slate (if you're playing NG+), items aren't required on the plateau either. But the Bow of Light is required for the end. So in Hyrule Castle we would get the Royal Guard's Claymore, the Royal Claymore, the Royal Guard's Shield, and the Royal Guard's Sword. Maybe 2 more are needed for durability, but idk.

The thing is that I don't practice all that often and I might come back to SMO speedrunning later tho.
