the sites not shady, ive bought a code from there with no problem as have other people, unlucky it doesnt work for you though. hmm, if u cant find a link anywhere or ebay or anything then i guess you wont be able to compete in the top teir for the any% and 100% unless you can convince the mods to split the category. im with you on wanting the split because it isnt fair but thats life i suppose 😃 |

i reckon just give it a try and if it doesnt work then find another way, 3 bucks isnt much of a waste if it doesnt work normally by inputing the code in your psstore |

Hey guys, just wanted to advertise this here, ive created a mod for the campaign levels where all the objectives classes as an "autoscroller" due to the timer on the right side of the screen, have been reduced to 1 second long, effectively removing them pretty much altogether. Maps affected include: Felucia I am uploading the files to this Link here for download > https://drive.google.com/file/d/1laNX4bEfQ1W-7G38i1E_j2qTu0iKjI2t/view?usp=sharing Install instructions are inside, its pretty simple, just copy and paste to the file directory, there is a set of original files there as well just in case u dont backup your own. Enjoy the meme runs XD and hopefully there are more memes to come, as i think ive finally figured out how to mess with the campaign maps easily. |

dont be too harsh on moderaters on this website, pretty much all of them are really nice people and they love the games they moderate, its clear that they will do whats right when they need to because they want the game to grow just as much as the rest of us runners. 🙂 |

Hey guys its been a while but your lord and saviour of autosplitter/load removers is back with another addition to his fine collection. i have now created an autosplitter for campaign levels. This splitter will activate on every objective in the game so use it at your own discretion. The main reason for making this is to allow for easier viability of optimization during levels. For Example, in felucia at the holocron picup, is it quicker to get infinite sprint? or is it quicker to use a jump at the end, or even quicker to do both? Simple questions like these will be answered simply by using this autosplitter as it will split at the exact same time as the objective menu appears, therefore, timing will be SPOT ON. I will also post this code in the resources tab of the webpage. This is the Code: ``` state("BattlefrontII") split ``` Now you may ask why isnt the load remover in this code aswell? i chose to make it seperate because i feel it would be easier then layering it in one because no one would have a choice to not use the autosplitter then. So how do i use it? well its simple, you have the load remover code as a scriptable autosplitter, so you simply add another scriptable autosplitter and choose the "campaignAS" as the path for the splitter. Now you should have 2 "scriptable autosplitters" in your layout for livesplit, this is good, very good mate. Let me know if anything doesnt work, because so far as ive tested it, everything appears to be fine. i will make an edit here in the near future that will say how many splits are required for each objective PLUSS the splits for each loading screen at the end of each level. |

yea the problem was that the update didnt seem to change anything however it did change the addresses of the game memory. for example; when i made the original load remover i used cheat engine to pinpoint an address in the memory of the game which would change values from 0 to higher or lower than 0 whilst 'loading' or 'not in game'. the address was like 0xFC something, except now that the update has gone through that address is missing, and if i remember correctly none of these addresses look like the ones before the update. so i think ive fixed the problem by finding a new address (or maybe the same one just renamed or something) which changes from 0 to higher or lower than 0 whilst 'loading'. it appears to work for the few levels ive tested it on however i havnt gone through a full run. i will upload the .asl file into resources and the code for the asl file below this comment. feel try to test it and let me know if its not working or anything and ill try some more ways to fix it 😃 state ("BattlefrontII") { |

the game was updated to work with steam multiplayer so for now the load remover is broken with the steam version of the game, im currently working on a way to fix it 😃 |

Estimate for a godlike 100% here would be sub 3:30:00, but would be extremely lucky haha Average time for a runner of all categories in 100% would be in the 4 hour mark |

Hey Speedrunners of BF2 and Newcomers to the scene!!! i've almost finished creating guides for all the Instant action categories then i will move onto Galactic Conquest. I hope this helps anyone who wants to get into the game or even just have a squiz at what the current strats are. As always, im up to debate strats and if anyone has anything new thats faster than whats in the guide ive made just let me know and we can do further testing and fix up the guide if we need to. http://www.speedrun.com/swbf2/guides4774 Enjoy speedrunning and i hope to see some more people on the leaderboards, its starting to get lonely XD EDIT: instant action is done and 2 gc's are done.
