Split Any% Categories?

Any% no ACE is kind of a different showcase of tricks (not entirely much you can do in a 5> min run but you know)

I just kinda feel like a no ACE cat would help differentiate things a bit, not totally necessary but just something i would prefer on the leaderboard.

Moderators actually have the ability to to add an extra "Variable" to be set on the leaderboards which could have a column for "ACE" like they have a column for "Platform" and "Time" and "Player" etc. Where users could enter Yes or No, and it could be set for the Any% Category only instead of making a whole other category; as a way for people to see whether ACE was used in the run or not.

Honestly it seems unneeded since it's kinda obvious which runs are ace and which aren't at this point. The category is any%. Having another category for any% before ace is no different than adding Zorlax% category to leaderboards and separating runs that way, it's just kinda undeeded. Games evolve and routes change :S

United States

I whole-heartedly support adding Zorlax% as a category.

so should we add a variables to the any% category that say "WW (yes or no) OOB (yes or no) S+Q (yes or no) ACE (yes or no) so we can just put it all on one category? Kappa

I agree with you Riddler :)

It's difficult because if it were any other category, ACE wouldn't be allowed, but any% is different. Any% has to be the fastest completion of the game for it to be true any%, it can't be stipulated. However, ACE has effectively killed the category. I won't run it now for instance. I would be for it being separated.

Any% = Beating the game as fast as possible.

Ace clearly fit that description.
