Make Solo/Co-op Subcategories

I don't care, it's a placeholder to make someone else do a good run. Just make the category, bud.

I care and the active community cares quite a bit. You can't "make somebody else do a better run", you're the one(s) wanting the category up in a dead game. It is up to you to show enough interest in populating it with actual speedruns to make it a worthwhile edition, and so far we are far from that with a casual playthrough done four months ago and two other runs done a year ago (and then a recent Blood Harvest, which is finally a good start).

Once again, I am not going to put a category up because you're demanding I do so as you don't speak for the entire active community until you become part of it. Either participate with your interest or don't.

This is so absolutely beyond unreasonable I cannot fathom how you can keep this up lol.

This is a speedrun leaderboard. Add the category to properly organize it. The mental gymnastics really need to end, you have no position.

Dead on arrival categories will not be added in an already dead game unless sufficient activity has been shown. I don't expect that to happen because the game is dead, and the only ones asking for it are inactive runners who have little to no existing runs, with the active runners not showing interest in it. It is therefore perfectly reasonable to confirm enough interest before making changes or additions.

The plan has been laid out already and will be how it goes. This is my final post on the matter.

Absolutely hilarious. I vouched for you to be added to the board as a mod because I wanted someone to be active, but it appears that you're just pretending to be active without actually doing anything. Extremely disappointing.

EDIT: To add, there's, again, no reason not to add the category. Your logic is beyond stupid, that a word to accurately describe it does not exist in the English language. You asked for a run, and I presented one to you. If you think it's slow, that's not my problem, it is a run that meets the qualifications that you requested. You didn't request a run that was XX:XX:XX time, you requested a run that was on Expert and I presented it. Stop moving the goal posts, all it takes is a few clicks and you can end useless and unnecessary drama that is only being perpetuated to fuel your ego and desire to be correct at all times.

Do your fucking job.

I am doing my job, thanks, and I have done many, many magnitudes of things across both boards over the year+ I have been a moderator and I continue to make changes as they are needed. Just because I don't immediately jump on your demand does not mean I am not doing my job as doing my job doesn't entail exclusively pleasing you and a more than fair compromise has been laid out. Please also do not insert words into my mouth, I did not ask for a single casual playthrough that was done four months ago, to quote the post in question,

"If a bunch of runs pop up across the various categories that are on Expert exclusively, I can make a new subcategory for it and shift them over to there. Otherwise it will stay as-is, so do understand it's possible your Expert run might remain on the boards as it currently looks if there isn't sufficient activity."

That is far from asking "for a run". The category will still happen with sufficient activity, it is not being added right now because people tend to say they will do something and then never follow through with it which will cause new categories to be up empty for no reason. I am not going to let that happen, so we're waiting to see the activity first. I care quite a lot about these boards and have done far more than what is required of me to try and be accomodating and courteous, taking quite a bit of time to write these responses, but this is clearly turning into a very unnecessary and angry environment and your accusations are not at all appreciated.

This thread is being locked and the existing offer will continue to stand if anybody would like to submit runs. Once again, it requires no extra work on your part, I can shift them over myself. All you need to do is submit like you were going to. It is my promise that this category will exist given enough activity.

Hey everyone, some minor changes to the rules - solely to clarify things/change wording, no rules actually "changed" (at least not in any way that will be relevant to 99.9% of people):
