From the rules of any%:
"-Intentionally detonating the bomb after a solve to save time is a permitted strategy."

Why is this? If you start a run with no progression, detonating after completing the bomb does not actually complete the bomb, and you would not be able to continue in the game.

I disagree with this being allowed in an "any%" run. It's against the spirit of completing the game. This would be more okay if the category was named "All Bombs" or "NG+". Anyone else feel the same way?

I agree. "NG+" would fit the current category, with "any%" being no intentional detonations. Would also need the category for Extreme% as well.
