That's common knowledge already and the reason why nobody uses different languages. This has been tested immediately after the language switch was added.

Its simple: If you use Switch, use german. If you use WiiU, use German for PAL and french for NTSC.

Yep, for the american version french is your fastest option. Also german doesn't even save close to 2 minutes, thats just wrong.

Just a quick information: This was not posted to meddle with a community decision. It was done to get an idea of the general community's opinion after an argument between the leaderboard mods and wqqqwrt which ZSR got dragged into. Apparently this got handled now, so the strawpoll got deleted.

Nope, Nintendont will mess with loading times and is banned, therefore runs from WiiU are not a thing right now. We check the loading times for the submissions.

Please get a disc if you want to be on the leaderboards. To practice and for yourself you can obviously still use it :)

ZeldaSpeedRuns is holding another Online Marathon this year, starting August 11th.

We want to show the world how Zelda Speedrunning is done and hope that you guys will be a part of it. So far, most Zelda games already got a submission in and will be there, but we want every game to have a shot. I personally love ALBW runs for their special flair and would miss it quite a bit.

Hey, nice find. This was the original way to do EMS back in the way when it was discovered. You can also see it getting used in the old TAS:

Sadly it is way more precise and requires the shadow beast to cooperate even more, which is why we found a more reliable method for RTA.

It is just a blast from the Zelda speedrunning past. Several older games changed it, but we decided to keep it as a memento. Sorry, but we'll keep it.

Wouldn't work cause you still need the Paraglider. We used cheats to wrong warp to Calamity and you still get voided and respawned on the Plateau.
