Was looking over the rules and read this. "Runs must be timed using the load remover which can be found within Livesplit." Doesn't that require the game to be run on the same system that Livesplit is running on? I prefer to use a 2 system setup where the gaming rig is separate from the broadcasting rig, and I run my Livesplit on the broadcaster.
LiveSplit Server exists, and allows for 2 separate LiveSplit instances to communicate with each other
Well I've got the server installed on both systems now, but I am seeing no documentation on how to get them to connect to each other from within the LiveSplit UI.
So any help on getting LiveSplit Server working? Outside of commands which I don't even know where to input those, I haven't seen anything that would get the 2 LiveSplit instances to talk to each other.
You don't have to do that anymore. The timing rules were just updated and a timer is no longer required. Although it is still recommended to use the auto-splitter if you want load times removed.
If you still want help setting it up you can ask in the server's help channel.
And where is this server? I assume it's a discord server but see no invites to it anywhere.
There's nothing under the follow button, but thanks. https://imgur.com/tmZjaUL
