Has anyone tested the glitch that lets you skip the Press Garden Act 2 boss as Sonic and Tails to see if it works with & Knuckles mode?

The Studiopolis Act 1 boss skip seems to be patched on the PC version. Not sure if its been patched on the console versions yet...

Found this neat trick in studiopolis act 2 not sure its usefull for IL Runs though

I'm sure that there will be ways to abuse it well enough.
