I just did a 41:00 run of this and I think it works. Defeat all of the bosses available post-game (except AUM Bowser). Time starts on entering the first painting and ends on hitting Bowser for the last time. Any setup prior to the run (flags, doors, etc.) is allowed, but Life-Up Hearts, Assist Mode, and Amiibo are prohibited. Here's my route: [Start in Mushroom Kingdom] Ruined Dragon, Mechawiggler, Torkdrift, Knucklotec, Lanceur, Cookatiel [Warp to Odyssey, go to Dark Side] Topper, Harriet, Spewart, Rango, Mechabroodal [Go to Moon Kingdom, warp to Ever-After Hill] Madame Broode [Warp to Wedding Hall] Bowser

Any thoughts?

If this was a category, why wouldn't it include AUM Bowser?

Not every runner has all unique moons. It would take at least 9-10 hours to get there.

Is Madame Broodal refightable an unlimited number of times? This sounds like a well-balanced category to me, where you fight each of the bosses exactly once

Yeah, but can't you just get AUM? This also requires unlocking Dark Side, which not everybody who owns the game has done either.

Well this is one fight per boss, the AUM painting would just be a second Bowser fight which imo isn't really necessary. It's still all bosses with 1 Bowser fight

AUM Bowser fight is fairly different from the normal post-game one.

@IwerSonsch Yes, Madame Broode can be replayed unlimited times. This was a discussion last time about AUM or not. Maybe if Normal Bowser has enough people running it then a subcategory with AUM Bowser can be made. Personally I'd rather fight AUM Bowser (although I casually beat him with no damage). In the meantime I think it would discourage those without 100% files from running it. Unlocking Dark Side would only take either a Dark Side run (~ 2 hours) or an Any% with 12,600 coins farmed post-game (also ~ 2 hours).

Farming 12.6k coins after Any% currently takes about 15 minutes thanks to LBW. With Hide it, you won't even have to play much yourself. You still need an Any% file and have to get a few checkpoints ofc

Btw Peach% bans warps, so the only thing you need is World Peace

Peach% is a postgame category that remains interesting because we disallow warping to checkpoints - that way it keeps decent amounts of movement and routing rather than just being full of downtime

We just proved... that sub 25 is possible! I hate this game now.

I think we should disinclude the Magnum Broodle from Post game bosses. Although you can skip it in the Any% it is still a pregame boss just like you can skip the Ice guy fight in the sand kingdom but he is still a pregame boss.

All Post Game Bosses means all bosses that can be refought an indefinite number of times. This applies to Broode on the moon.

We can make the title of the run as specific as possible to cover the 13 bosses it includes; I don't think decisions should be based on the name of the category.
