Has anyone done the math on loading screens versus all 1.0.0 skips? Like, would you still be able to get a WR if you do all the skips correctly and maybe find new ones?
I mean, if we found knew 1.0 exclusive stuff, possibly. Bit I'm 100% sure that 1.3 btt is faster than 1.0 btt.
there is definetly more glitches to be found in 1.0.0 but as of right now 1.0.0 is not viable. You can get subhour with 1.0.0 but going further will be very hard.
upon 1.3 release the difference in any% between 1.0 and 1.3 was about 5s.
since then we've got better routes that make better use of the fast loading times so its probably closer to 10s.
technically you can get wr with 1.0 but its both slower and harder because of the skips
every time you have to load the main "overworld" of metro on 1.3 compared to 1.0 you save a full second - slots is only faster on 1.3 or maybe breaks even, bullet billding does save time on 1.0 but not as much
Yet. We have to wait for emulators. Also, a BFF is the closest we can get right now to a TAS.
@linny356 its called BTT. Also, there are SMO TASses, but they are only a few seconds long. A few of them, such as the rumble room and left side TAS, are actually faster than their corresponding BTT segments.
There are a few TAS clips for BTT, not much In the sheet the are somes nice perfect frames machines and like 3 TAS not-machines clip that i remember rigth now
When people say there is no tas, that is because there is not a reliably accurate emulator, so there is not a tas in that sense
