Just to open up more categories for the game, how about a category where you just best the games prologue? Timer starts on file select and ends when Krystal releases the first Krazoa Spirit. This would make for a very quick run but fun too. You could call it Prologue or maybe just Krystal.

I do see a few objections, primarily that its mostly cutscenes. But still. Just an idea.

As opposed to a short run, maybe a longer one where you get every staff upgrades (kind of a 100% run) ? It wouldn't be that interesting though...

You have to beat like 85% of the game to get there. It would end after Dragon Rock when you get the cape claw meter expansion.

I'm already kinda bugged by every category other than any%. Believe me, this game isn't close to broken enough for a whole bunch of categories. Having a category that is exactly the same as another category, only it cuts off at some earlier point seems absolutely pointless. Spellstone 2 is really the only category I'm considering removing. It doesn't bring anything new to the game. Spellstone 1 has the exclusive DIME trick that saves around 5 minutes. Moonjump% is... you know, broken af. When 100% is created, it will include all the staff upgrades, so... Also, there's already been a forum post for different categories called... "Different Categories" btw

I would like to make a No Save&Quit run. A run without saves well.

That's boring. Do ILs instead. That way IL leaderboards can be created.

we have already 1st spellstone cat on misc, in the game its possible to get 2nd spellstone before the first one, its possible to get the 3rd before 1st & 2nd (if u allowed the ESW & RESW tricks), would be good to try those categories

As much as I'd like to see Spellstone 2 & 3 as misc categories, that'd mean we'd have to discuss it and I don't really have the energy to go through that again, since ESW and RESW are involved (for stone 3)
