Seed "6" - Keter 100% guide

Disclaimer:

This seed is a common D-tier seed where you cannot easily access SCP-914, HCZ rooms and gates. Final run time mostly depends on player's luck at Omni card, and current WR can be beaten on basically every seed. I run seed "6" on version 1.3.11 because I am too lazy to type the same seed every reset and to find such complex routes on other seeds (and especially on older versions of the game).

Route analysis:

Pros:

  • Player collects important loot before entering SCP-914 chamber (NVGs, hand, MT password);

  • SCP-500 spawns right next to MT elevator;

  • Buggy SCP-049 spawns.

Cons:

  • Looooong way back to SCP-914;

  • Unavoidable and kinda aggressive SCP-966s;

  • MTF units block both exits.

SCP-173 behavior:

You better pray.

Although SCP-173 is acting as usual, he almost 100% spawns at these locations:

  • SCP-939 elevator (if player has visited Archive room next to elevator);

  • room3 next to MT;

  • Almost every checkpoint on the route;

  • Top floor of electrical center;

  • SCP-106 and SCP-079 rooms.

As for SCP-106 room, player has to keep in mind that SCP-106 and SCP-079 chambers have an intersection that allows SCP-173 to easily travel between rooms.

Bonus trick: after visiting WCs you can find SCP-173 at nearby room3 junction. Player is able to bait him into distracting MTF units and then proceed to exits.

Keycards:

The more keycards collected by player - the better chances to get Omni card. Along the way player can collect these keycards:

  • K1 from closets;

  • 2 coins from wallet (optional);

  • K2 from testroom 2B;

  • 2 cards from Archive room;

  • Another card from Archive room;

  • K1 from SCP-970 corridor;

  • K4 from SCP-049 chamber;

  • K5 from SCP-106 chamber;

  • K5 from main office;

  • K3 from coffin;

  • K3 from shaft room (optional).

At the point where player returns back to SCP-914, player has 31 achievements and a ~10% chance to get Omni at first try.

Extra items to loot:

  • NVGs from SCP-939 storage. Upgrade them to blue NVGs (especially if you’re afraid of SCP-173);

  • Hand from SCP-939 storage (allows to open SCP-049 biometric lock),

  • One battery from closets;

  • Cup from SCP-970 corridor (player has a chance to convert it to extra keycard in SCP-1162 hole);

  • Another NVGs in MTs (insert the battery into these NVGs and remove the fog for the rest of the run).

Time management advices:

  • Use SCP-1123 or SCP-035 cutscenes to calc Dr Maynard's password (instead of picking up the page from PD);

  • Grab SCP-1499 after visiting SCP-1162 hole;

  • Shock SCP-106 on the way back to SCP-914;

  • Use PD warp back to HCZ if you have bad luck at Omni;

  • Use SCP-173 to distract MTF units.

P.S.

I really want to encourage people to find new skips and fun routes. This seed is D-tier overall and this shows that Keter 100% WR can be beaten on any good seed. But if you want to try out seed "6", you can also use my walkthrough as manual
