I have wanted to try to run this category on emulator until I get a DSI and I find that desemu is too slow to run and I wanted to get a mods recommendation of an alternative

desmume is the only allowed emulator. There is a setting you need to change to make it not run like trash, but I forget what it is. Does anyone else remember?

so hopefully this doesn't get me into much trouble but how do I know if I am using Desmume emulator? I have open EMu and grabbed a random emulated game online. So how would I know if it is Desmume

@v1bertizm does it matter which actually game I download or do i have to download a specific one? ( i got DeSmuME)

Downloading ROMs is the illegal part of emulation, so as moderators for this website we're not supposed to condone doing it. Someone else could probably help you, though.

@KrakenTheJaken roms work the same across all emulators for a console, if that's what you're asking
