I feel like we shouldn't have video proof for our runs. This site is pretty much a joke anyway, and it's unfair to those of us who, y'know, don't have a $400 capture card. Because it's very hard to find a good set up without a capture card. I just feel like it's too extreme for a site like this especially because old runs before this rule without video proof isn't allowed. I have no way of recording my runs so it just makes it impossible for me to submit a run because I'm very good at this game compared to other people on this leaderboard, but I can't submit a time because I don't have any means of recording.
I'd assume you have a phone, meaning that you actually have quite an easy way to record. For example, all I did was download streamlabs (which is a free app) to stream to twitch to avoid storage issues, and put my phone on the side of a table. The stream is upside down, but that doesn't matter to us while verifying, and it's very easy to rotate if you would prefer to rotate it afterwards. But i find I don't have to sit uncomfortably if I play like that
