New PB/WR during The “Bad and Obscure Speedrun Showcase” hosted on RPG Limit Break’s channel. Despite taking many safety precautions I think the main reason for my time save was being several levels higher than I usually am sped up the final fight substantially (my previous PB had a horrible final boss fight).

Next time I attempt running this I plan on cutting out a few more chests that I used to pick up for selling items. I usually have more than enough healing items by the end game anyway. Makes me wonder if I could cut out the final shop entirely if I could stock up on enough mp and hp items beforehand to sustain me through Black Dragon.

I also need to work on optimizing when to equip items since I know I waste time menuing more than I need to.

I think sub 4:15 is possible with what I mentioned above. Maybe even sub 4:10 with a perfectly optimized run.
