I dunno. My runs have been accepted with FFWD. It probably wasn't allowed before, but now everyone has it so you are allowed.

The current world record also does use it. And the one that i'm waiting to get confirmed uses it. I wont tell the time but its on my channel.

I believe that since I stepped down as mod there was a rule change. If the current mods are accepting the runs then it's probably allowed. I will say though that when I was a mod I was in favour of a ban, though nothing was written in the rules afaik.
