Ive searched through lots of threads, Ive been speedrunning minecraft and obs doesnt capture the timer when I have minecraft fullscreened. All of the solutions seem to be to run the game windowed fullscreened, or have the timer up on a second monitor, which are very problematic for me. The thing is, ive gotten it to work before. I use to be able to have minecraft fullscreened, with obs capturing livesplit. but after I added in game time ive only been able to got it to work once, and I cant figure out how I did it.
I would suggest asking your question in the Minecraft forum, as the answer may be specific to that game.
@Pear No need, this is a thing that's applicable to OBS, LiveSplit, and fullscreen games.
Unfortunately, I don't know the answer off the top of my head, but it's definitely been answered multiple times before on the forum, you might want to try googling with "site: speedrun.com" at the end of your search.
@phipphlop 2 Suggestions.
- Make sure you aren't minimizing livesplits, it can't be captured that way
- You can try to enable 'always on top' with livesplits to help fix that
