On console here... and i am wondering what the rules are for my run to be accepted. Like do i need a timer on screen if so how to do it with a computer lol are there any banned methods for the runs the basics pretty much

A livesplit timer is not necessary, as for everything else the rules (Make sure to check both the game and category rules tab if necessary) outline what is necessary for submission. As long as you're following what's laid out in the rules section you will be fine but if you still don't understand the rules I'd like to extend an invitation to the Speedsouls discord server (Linked on the front page of Elden Ring and all other souls games Speedrun.com page) as you'll be able to find out more information and get faster answers to specific questions there.

There are console speedruns on the leaderboards already, you should also look at them.

Where are the console speedruns? I don't see any. It just says empty.

Because of the current patch (version 1.04) released recently, all the runs which were done on impossible patches (aka not 1.00 nor Current Patch) were moved to a miscellaneous section.
