I've been running for while now and have been mashing instead of using C (because I consider it debug menu.) But after a few discussions on the DR reddit it appears like most people don't consider it part of the debug menu. So is Wrist Protector allowed or no for TPTR runs?
I posted it on Reddit, but it is 100% allowed. It's an in-game item put in by Toby Fox that you can get by getting to the Dark World before 8 in-game minutes.
It's not part of the debug menu because you don't need debug to use it. You're probably confusing it with the actual debug function which allows you to skip dialogue in the same way as the wrist protector.
About a month ago, there was a community poll held in the discord to add IGT to Deltarune. After a close poll of about 70 to 5, we have added the use of IGT to the game. This IGT only makes a difference to the All Chapters categories, removing the time spent switching between chapter 1 and chapter 2
