I wasn't quite sure what to do regarding timing, since there is no red "X" symbol. I stopped the timer when the queen reached her rest position in the final checkmate position. I would stop the timer on the frame where the thinker icon flashes, but half of the time he doesn't show up at all between the checkmate and the king capture. The "Game over" dialog might make the most sense for timing, but isn't really in line with the existing rules.
