User PapoDrav on the Free Lives discord just picked up the game and did a slowed down run using cheat engine. He intends to learn the current route and experiment with time save, so he might discover a lot more oob and optimizations that we may use in any% some day ! It is pretty hype i think

That's incredicle, didn't think anybody was planning on doing a tas for this game so soon! I'd love to see it once it's done of course, I am absolutely hyped! Can't wait!

User Unlucky on the Free Lives discord ACTUALLY made a tas of Slums 1 , slowing down his game and pulling off a time of 4.66 !!! He was able to dash from the tv directly to the end trigger, which is the worst to pull off, but the potential time save for actual runs is huge !!

That is so amazing!! I really hope to see more tas runs of this game!! And I look forward to any new strategies for potential time save that they may discover, speaking of discovering though.

I found out just today how difficult this game can be again, I saw that Whaps put up a forum saying that the new update has nerfed the corridor blasters and let me tell you that it's pretty rough, there is quite the difference between the versions now so we may need to make adjustments to the leaderboards due to this new issue, my PB on lvl 1 is now 6.49sec which took me almost an hour to get, this new update has made quite the impact for the speedrunners for sure.
