First of all this is not your normal journey, you should have beaten the game once on easy so you have the needed gadgets on Knack as well as any upgraded Knack, my personal favorite and recommendation for the run is Diamond Knack. His stats are maxed out at 5-5-5, so that means on Easy mode the enemies won't be killing Knack as much as if the game is on Very Hard mode.
