My idea would be to have categories like all levels any% for players to complete. These could be complimented by the already existing subcategories.
The only thing with that is when they add a new map it would obsolete previous runs then. So maybe we set it up to be certain number or levels or specific groups of levels so that that's bot always the case?
Basically we can have what we call legacy maps which are tripwire maps as a group and the others grouped accordingly. Community maps being another set of maps.
In regards to the Full game leader board possibility, I was working on a way to do that and it will work pretty much as we already have things. Planning out this transition will take me a bit of time I got busy with plenty of IRL stuff and a marathon I'm working on among things.
Hopefully will have this ready to go soon, Also the new " Nightmare " map has been added.
TDLR: Board will look nicer easier to find and see runs, no more only seeing the default and top time for the level.
Runs will be sorted a bit differently then most boards a good example of the Overhaul would be the recent changes to Onechanbara Z2 ( https://www.speedrun.com/onez2#Chapter_Select ) I made a bit ago it was an easier board for me to do less runs and categories but it was a nice Guinea pig for the concept to try and it needed it as well.
The only things to figure out for this games board is which category types are going to be the primary and sub categories and so on.
Suggestions welcome on this as well btw.
I'll be starting to roll out the full leaderboard switch soon as well as legacy clears, which will use total igt among all levels. Besides looking nicer to view it will be more functional to see and submit runs.
IL board will remain active till the other board is finished and runs are moved to it.
Alright So just a heads up on a few changes to the boards IL's will pretty much remain as is but Collectibles and the new Legacy categories will be added/move to the full game boards as this will make things simpler for things going forward. There will be some tweaks to how IL's are presented and set up some I will address those changes separately afterwards.
Ultimately we will be looking at streamlining the board for IL's and Full boards, this will not fix how ugly looking at all IL's is as thats a site limitation but It will function the same if not better.
Expect these changes in the new few weeks or so when my free to clears up going into the new year.

Right now the most common runs are SOLO-runs so if we were to place amont of players under topics (like the other boards any%, 100%) it will show more runs on the front page.
So instead of players we could have Normal, Hard, Suicidal, HoE, (Collectibles?)?
I'll transition things to regular board soon with help from you guys and we'll talk about setting it up in a better fashion but yeah. Send me a request on discord and we wil set up a time to talk before we make the changes. That way when I start up runs again in the new year we should have a better looking board.

Btw a bit ago I updated the SRDC logo in the top left any thoughts on that? would like some feed back if any. not really important but thought I would replace the ugly one we had.
Was just analysing the full game categories and noticed that endless has not been set up? and collectibles was also there, is the intention to merge IL collectibles category to this? I personally don’t and will not have interests in doing endless, I was just curious. Thanks.
Yes, moving Collectibles out of IL's in general would be ideal. Endless and the other sort of categories are still up in the air but was checking to see how things could be organized in a fashion that makes sense should things be added or changed outside IL.
I don't have much interest in endless either so unless others do I think it will either be removed for now or hidden till there is reason to have it.
Still working out what to even do with FG cats if there is even merit to having them.
I think what could be done for endless is to have certain round milestones as categories, like fastest round 10, 25, 50, 100, etc... like COD Zombies does their round charts, though the longer videos for higher rounds would be a bit of a hassle. For example, I'm doing a high round on Spillway, (paused on round 165 at the time of writing this) and my time at the start of round 51 was 1:15:11, or 75:11 as the in game time would display it. It would be the same rules as a regular Survival game for the most part, just applied to Endless, with the end being when the boss on whatever milestone round is killed. This is arguably my favorite mode in the game, and I would love for there to be competition for it in some form here on the site.
