Is running the game on Game boy Colour allowed?
I'm new to the older speedrun titles, and wanted to know if you are allowed to use the GBC to speedrun this game. And if so, what is the best way to record it?

If you're looking to record directly on a hand held; then pointing a camera/webcam at your device may be your only option outside of expensive mods. (I've seen a crazy DMG mod that outputs VGA).
Most people who want to play on hardware go for GBP, GBi, or SGB2. (I use my SGB2 for it's ease of recording and comfort of a big screen)
