What does the Warpless part of this requirement mean? I don't see anything in the rules explaining and i'm more or less curious.

Just started learning this run so I'm excited to play it more!

I'm not the best person to be answering this, but you can wrong warp by transitioning off of screens in directions that you aren't normally able. For example, I think you can use transformations to chain together extra jumps, and then transition at the tops of screens with nothing above them (like the castle).

Iirc, it's difficult to perform and very likely to crash, so I don't know how RTA viable it is anyway.

I'd recommend checking out the TAS, because I'm pretty sure it does it a couple of times.
