Hey, I would like to try an any% by myself but somehow the patch doesn't work for me.

I've loaded the patch files into the "Watch_Dogs\data_win64"-diectory but I still am at v1.06.329. Only thing the patch did, was to remove the text for "Continue", "New Game" and "Bad Blood"

Does anybody know why this could be?

I think the text for the patch at the start stays the same, but the stuff in game changes. The only good way I know of finding out if the patch worked would be to do the glitch for Act 2, Mission 8. If the skip for that mission works, then the patch worked. There may also be some bugs in-game that the newer patches fixed.

After a few years, I updated the patch files. You also have to replace some dll files in the bin folder to complete the full downgrade. Adding those old v.1.04.497 dll files, along with the patch.dat and patch.fat, should make the main menu say v1.04.497. Bad Blood will also disappear from the main menu if you have it installed.

You can easily go back to the current version of the game by replacing those same files with the updated ones, so just make sure to back them up if you don't want to verify your game files.
