alright finally have an answer after some thought and discussion: dlc levels, for now, will be excluded from all levels runs. you just have to complete all levels prior to utopia shelter, with time ending the same as any%

essentially, version won't change anything but what you have access to do (i.e. infinite fall being patched in 1.2)

we've seen some others ask about this, but there are two reasons:

1. 6 total subcategories make leaderboards really hard to navigate, and the mod team has been trying our best to avoid subcategory bloat through the categories
2. tying into point 1, the mod team didn't feel as though true ending categories had enough popularity to justify making the leaderboard harder to navigate

as such, it was excluded. we may reverse this decision if enough people show interest in a true ending dlc category!

a video autosplitter for this game is a very, very difficult endeavor. we've looked some into it with our autosplitter dev and it, for now, isnt a priority. maybe much, much later down the line.

firstly, the preorder bonuses are unlikely to be allowed, even for dlc categories.

secondly, there is a way to disable it! you have to uninstall the dlc, which you can find the way to do by googling "how to uninstall dlc [platform]"

damageless sounds like a perfectly fine challenge run, but is not really appropriate for a speedrun leaderboard imo! the whole point isn't to go fast, it's to avoid damage

would still love to see it (and might go for it myself one day) but it isnt for our src leaderboards

as long as the run is an actual attempt to play fast it's fine, if it's purposefully slow then we'll just reject it. being long doesnt mean purposefully slow though

you never, and i mean NEVER, have to wait for a leaderboard to run a category. run what interests you! have fun speedrunning in your own way, leaderboards literally do not matter :D

there's not credits before the final boss, there's an alternate ending where the lamb dies and the one who waits gets the crown back (which rolls the credits)
