I feel like I've heard of this happening before, but I can't remember what the issue was / how to fix it

sometimes when livesplit doesn't get as much CPU time as it wants then the autosplitter etc. stop working

You need the no CD exe for the auto splitter and load remover to work

PAL would be a little slower because of the lower FPS, but makes 1 frames easier to hit. Dolphin is much better than PCSX2 because of the broken load times on it, but I would recommend just running on your PS2 anyway

PS2's just a bad system for speedrunning on, not much you can do about it

To start off, there is a way to consistently skip the introductory camera pan. To do this you need to have played 1-6 Bonestorm Storm, then Quit to Main Menu and start a new run. This allows you to pause and unpause to skip the camera pan. However, this is regarded as Pre-Run Setup, therefore skipping the Camera Pan is BANNED. The question is, if the skip is available (shown by a lack of black bars on the top and bottom of the screen during the intro) but not performed, say if the runner reset in Bonestorm then immediately did a run, should the run be rejected, saying as they did not perform the skip? Discuss

Well if 416 is accepted you could just do a 416 but with no major skips in SMS and submit it to that leaderboard, like how some people do a 246 but with no major skips

Yeah window capture doesn't work that well with emulators, so use the monitor capture and sub-region the bit you need

When I load up the FireRed ROM in VBA, it says the "1M sub-circuit board is not installed" stopping me from playing the game. Anyone know why this is happening (I've never used a GBA emulator before so I don't understand much about it)
