This is not a demand to open single level leaderboards. just want you to know I started to run that and I'm curious to know if anyone is doing it. My personal rule is getting the highest possible score 25300 in the first level and the timing I use is to stop the timer at the last note of the victory fanfare
Hi.
I casually play 150cc and 200cc Time Trials.
When I keep track of my times, I always differentiate by character and part combinaisons I use because I don't want to compare times I'm not equipped the same.
Do Speedrun.com Mario Kart leaderboards should integrate such distinctions, in your opinion ?
As a moderator, I wonder if an Everdrive N8 cartridge is allowed to be used to play a NES or FDS game and publish the run to speedrun.com.
Hi, I played the very first level
(Rules are in the description of the video.)
There is no level leaderboard yet. Are moderators considering having a level leaderboard for this game ?
Hi, I wanted to submit a round 01 run today. It has been rejected because "There is no individual level board for this game".
Are level runs prohibited or can I request the opening of levels leaderboard ?
I don't understand why there is two categories in the leaderboard. The only difference I see between them is waiting for a bonus stage to end. What's the point ?
Hi moderators, Selection A in 5m 56s 840ms by Ultxsda is notified played on NES but with the video I think it's WiiVC [Emu] instead.
I did not verified the other runs in the leaderboard.
Recently, GameXplain published a video about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch load times comparison against the Mario Kart 8 on Wii U, both digital and physical versions.
It makes me realise how much the digital version of games are way faster than physical ones.
Loading times are important in speedrunning in my opinion because, now, we count the run times in real game time.
At Speedrun.com we make difference beetween official games and emulation games, and that's good. We also notice when it's a 3DS/WiiU Virtual Console game, and that's good.
But I think we need to add the option of indicate if our run is played on physical or digital version ; If it's a CD/cartridge oooooor if it's a dowloaded game on the eShop.
In my opinion, it's a good thing to add when it's about 3DS, Wii U and Switch games, and also every other console that allow to have games both digital and physical.
What do you think ?
Is it possible to add an easier category than Any% ? I am so bad at this game I can't pass the 3rd level. Maybe a 18000 points category ? (6000+additionnal12000 bonus)
I'm very bad at this game but I want to do a personal best run. Is the "continue" in a run allowed to finish the game ?
