So E1F1 Only Is the 2nd biggest category for Wolfenstein SNES speedrunning. So far I got the first Sub-50, llol got the first sub 30, And now we are down to sub 25 seconds. It makes you wonder how fast the world record could possibly be. If we are going to push it to the absolute limits, It would be sub sector by sub sector, step by step, full sector by full sector. I've created a few methods on how to do this, One being NEVER not be pressing anything, Always be walking, go for NO secrets, NO detours, This should get you atleast 1 second below the current record. Also when you see a guard make sure it can't get in your way or atleast shoot as soon as you notice its going to get in your way. but be 100% sure or you'll waste more than 4 seconds. Realize that 4 seconds is alot with a record of 23 seconds. Thats near a third of the entire run. To do this I split the current record into fractions, So its one third per 7.9 seconds. 7.9 + 7.9 + 7.9 is 23.7. So to get a new record 6 seconds would already be a third of the run. That'd make an 18 second run.
After my ego was crushed when I realized my E1F1 record was beaten, I'd like to say it looks sorta fishy, I've been working on beating the record, and I examined the footage as a way to help me beat the record, And its kinda fishy. The smoothness of the picture is unusually good for an emulator, And it sounds slowed down. I feel like in some way the footage was tampered with. I also have a strong feeling that the account is throwaway made just to anger Alex and I. They also made sure to beat every Any% run. The name is llol, the profile picture is an anime dab, And the account has only ever speedran Wolfenstein 3D And the SNES Port, each being world records. I'm not bashing YetiHype, infact I've talked to him on twitter, But he should've examined the footage more. I'd gladly help in a frame by frame analysis of the whole run. And the coloring looks off. and it looks just a tiny bit like he edited in the time. With everything being so off, I've concluded 100% accurately that the run is tampered with. This may just sound like me being angry because I'm the former world record holder and we former world record holders tend to get mad about our title as a former world record holder, but just examine it yourself, I checked in my emulator, and I checked in llol's video, and the numbers look off.
