YAYAYAYAYAYY first update in literally a year

Well, I am sorry for my inactivity, I have had a bunch of things happening irl right now as I will be going to University next year.

I am not abandoning this project in any way, it is just that I simply don't have the time for it as of now, and I am not sure when I will. Please don't expect me to be active as I really wish I could be adding runs every day.

Whenever I get a chance, I will try to add runs and I will try to keep the leaderboard up to date, but yeah.

Wow, Thank you @IvanderLatidjan :) I am doing it because I just really want an easy way for people to see the true record for these songs, rather than just the submitted ones... Yeah i was thinking that too @Machs2Point0, since it is there, and it is clearly has a score... One thing is that there are no consecutive tiles, but instead hold tiles... and i can actually get good score in them when my ipad doesn't lag.

I cannot confirm the validity of this method because I am using iOS, but it is worth a try

Just to give you further information on this, we mean that you must provide a recording of the song being played (whether it is a screen recorder or an external device).

There are two ways to verify it is the correct song, firstly by showing the song's title, (at the beginning of the video or end of the video), OR, by recording the song so that the music plays aloud. This then allows us to confirm it is the specific song you provided, and allows us to verify your run as legit.

Ok, so yeah. The first 3-4 levels that you do occur this way, in that the song ends at 3 stars. However once you play through these first few levels, the game will work properly. I think @RaggedDan is right as in they act as a tutorial. However after your first few runs, it will work fine. :) Once the game stops stopping you at three stars, you can go back and redo the first few stages, allowing you to get the score you deserve.

looks like we got 'support' from the community, the entire community being Pear and RaggedDan. I will just start doing the runs when i can until people post telling me to stop...

So, I am asking the community whether I should go around and find recordings of pt2 on youtube, and was wondering what you guys thought.

This is because if I do this, we get more runs and a more accurate representation of the real WR.

However if I do this, we drop in our rank by a lot.

Assumming Sanya is the 100% best pt2 player out there, (And I mean like 20tps as I have actually seen that once), the max you can get is maybe 2500, and that is pushing it.

There is no way you got 3100 without something messing up the game and causing it to go slower. (Maybe the freeze cheat or something, but still)

Now for the other 2 runs.... It is borderline possible assuming you can reach 16tps. The person below has done 16tps before.

Understand that I am not attacking you but only questioning the legitimacy of these songs due to the false Little Star run.

If you would like to truly prove me wrong, please post a video of you doing a song (as seen in the youtube video) or any sort of relatable proof that shows you can actually attain the speeds you say you can play at.

So the run of EK doing Christmas Rhapsody was taken from online and posted as a run. There are runs like this all over the place for many other songs. Should I start a new thread and link all of these runs to further the Wr's?

What I mean is, one of the songs I hold a record for, 'Por Una Cabeza', my score is 4179 https://www.speedrun.com/pt2/run/y25lo19y It took me 5 seconds to find this run, which is a whole 1500 points better than mine. (See Below)

Should these runs be added, or would we want to keep these records within the community?
