If you walk over mid air and slash your sword, you are allowed to jump mid air. This might create some skips or time saves.

wait this isn't really a big deal, you have to slash your sword while you're touching ground (but it can still take you off the edge in mid air). It will let you go slightly further I guess but probably won't be useful. You can do any number of slashes after the original and still jump, but one is best.
