Use the scouts to escort the Lieutenant on the 'fire at will' setting, and bunch him up with 4 unarmed soldiers so hoppers don't attack him.

First time ever playing this mission was a experience, especially after the tanker shows up. Would have been better if the tanker appears inside the base.
