i also want to clarify that if you have recommendations for the website, then talk to me. If you have ideas for the Bingo tasks or anything like that, then its best to talk to Sniffims, but if he is unavailable at that time then run it by me and i will make sure he gets it.
@ Hoobie, Right i didnt realize how that might look. But hear me out. I am the one that created the website and I don't have beef with anyone. Also as I stated before being a member doesnt do anything in specific just yet. So for the time being I encourage everyone to enjoy the play style and if being a member is something you want to avoid than I can understand.
I understand that for some reason it seems impossible that a speedrun community can't have some form of drama. The whole intention behind Sniff and I creating this was so that everyone could enjoy the game we all spend so much time and effort on but without the same degree of competitiveness. We hope that this brings nothing but joy to all groups and possibly help bring the community back together. Just like it says on the rules page this isn't a serious environment. I know I sound like a tree hugging hippie now but I just want to make sure that our goal is known and that their is no misconstrued ideas about us. Uhg... I'm not splitting anyone up. This is just something else to do with everyone here because speedrunning the same thing over and over again will eventually get stale. Especially if you hold the WR and no one's coming close to beating it.
I predict that it will fail, not enough effort will be put into it, it will fade away and then the website will be closed cause the owner will stop paying for it.
SpeedRunCom is well known these days and more people will be drawn to this site rather then yours. Why would anyone post runs on 2 websites when they can just stick with 1?
Thats just the leaderboard part. If you put up some strats, glitch guide etc it can and most likely will be copy pasted here.
If you you think you can do it then go ahead, Im just trying to save you some time.
