Hello, I'm looking to get into speedrunning this and I was wondering if it was possible to get a good time without having to fight emperor bulblax?

You can get a decent time, but Emperor Bulblax is so easy anyway. Nothing like the first game. Just take about 15 purples, and throw them all at it so it wakes up, and then it'll pretty much die immediately.

Yeah, it's just that I never really liked having to fight him. I'll try that in my runs, thanks.

If you are going for an eight day run, or a pay off debt, after the valley of repose, the third day you want to fight emperor bulblax (you can through glitches). You need that fire resistance for the Submerged castle (after you come back for the Snagret Hole, Obv. Oh, and no Lighting) Hope this helps as well
