I’m new to speedrunning and I have been getting into pikmin speedruns, I don’t have a copy of the game yet, because I’ve had a hard time finding an affordable one, though I’m planning to get one soon, just wanted to know why.

We want new runners to have the opportunity to try out the run on emulator but if you put in the work to get under 1:20 then you really should be running on a legit version. Using the emulator is just a good way to see if you like the run enough to actually invest the money!
