This is my first attempt at a recorded speedrun, getting back into it for the first time since running the Resident Evil series on PS2/Gamecube. I don't have a capture card (yet) so I worked with what I do have; the Xbox One Twitch app and Adobe Premiere to supply the BITC (Burnt-In Timecode) to supply the time. This is the current record for Xbox One, but not for consoles overall.

3/4 or so of the way through, the right stick on my conroller jammed up and became essentially unusable. Since this run does allow load times and such to be factored out, I decided to take the time to fix it. I also save/quit in 2 other areas in order to speed up the game a bit, with the load times being subtracted from my final submission. In total, I spent 1:52 fixing my controller on the main menu and a total of 1:38 across all 3 loading screens.

Overall, I say this run has a decent margin of room for improvement. If I utilize other save/load cheeses, it will increase my overall time but lower my time without loads. I also made a severe mistake in running left instead of right in the pool, as well as a few other general snags and hook ups along the way that added time. Overall, I think that a solid 2:04:30 is possible. If the glitches that work on PC such as ledge jumping and push clipping work on consoles, perhaps a sub-2 hour run is possible.

/modedit We don't use time without loads on consoles, too much work to time it. Also any time used on menus or game paused is still part of the timed run, since we use real time.
